Abstract
This is one of a series of seminars aimed at current postgrads and Postdocs to show what previous researchers have done in their careers.
Dr David Martin is a specialist life sciences patent attorney, drafting and managing patent applications. David graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh.
He has taken the knowledge and transferable skills gained from a PhD in Molecular Biology and a Postdoc research career encompassing work at Berkeley and Oxford to a new area working as a Patent attorney.
This seminar outlines the journey he made and the benefits of his current career.
There will be the chance to talk with David informally over lunch following his talk, included in programme.
