BioNEt Working Groups
Working Groups (WGs) are the main driving force behind the academic
and technological focus of Bionet. Individual members of the
Health, Healthcare and Life Sciences network can subscribe to any of the WGs. The aims of the WGs
are to:
-stimulate interactions (communication, research, national/regional funding opportunities) between biological and
non-biological scientists at research interfaces relevant to life sciences and healthcare at the intra-institutional, inter-institutional
and academic/industrial levels
-monitor challenges and emerging technologies in life sciences and healthcare
-encourage interdisciplinary and subject-specific training at the post-graduate
and post-doctoral level
-contribute to Bionet symposia, seminars and workshops
-consider issues of national and regional reports
There are ten WGs each with a facilitator who has enlisted an appropriate number of representatives of relevant expertise and constituencies within Bionet, to form a committee.
